Satellites Phase 2
WorleyParsons, through its Nigerian joint venture DeltaAfrik Engineering, has won a contract extension from ExxonMobil for the engineering and project delivery services for the Satellites Phase 2 project in Nigeria.
Part of an ongoing offshore facilities upgrade program, the contract includes four new unmanned wellhead platforms, 78 kilometers of pipelines, risers and associated brownfield tie-ins, scheduled to be delivered over the next four years. Van Leeuwen is awarded the supply contract for high yield plates, beams and seamless pipes, with a total value of over $10.000.000.
Part of the delivery consists of extensive marking, traceability, segregation of the materials and inspections at the mills and in the ports in Antwerp and Houston. For stock material, additional tests are carried out.
